Follows the footsteps of Zena Donnelly

Muireann follows in the footsteps of Zena Donnelly, Ireland’s entry at the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Valletta. Zena participated in The Voice Kids UK in 2017, successfully reaching the battle rounds!

Now 13-year-old Muireann won the Irish national selection Junior Eurovision ร‰ire in November 2017 with Sรบile glasa, co-written by herself alongside James McGuire. In Tbilisi, Sรบile glasa went on to finish in 15th place earning 42 of her 54 points via the online vote. (Editor’s note: One of the most unjust results in recent years!) Russia’s Polina Bogusevich was victorious in Tbilisi with Wings.

Stay tuned for Muireann’s audition

In tonight’s opening episode of The Voice Kids UK, Muireann was spotted talking to another auditionee prior to their own audition. Based on previous years, it is almost certain we’ll see Muireann’s own audition during the coming episodes. We can’t wait to see her in action!
