On June 20th, concert agency Show Impulse announced that MARUV would tour in North America. This announcement comes out at the same time that MARUV is touring all over Eastern Europe, including Milan, Italy; Chisinau, Moldova; Tallinn, Estonia (where she is performing tonight); and many locations in Ukraine and Russia.
The tour will last from October 4th through the 13th and will span seven cities. This tour will be MARUV’s first tour in the United States and Canada.
MARUV, known for hit singles like “Drunk Groove” and “For You,” is best known to us as the winner of Vidbir in February 2019 with “Siren Song.” As the winner, she was supposed to represent Ukraine at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv. However, after UA:PBC offered her an overly demanding contract and politicized her participation, MARUV did not represent Ukraine, and the country withdrew.
