Submission deadline extended for Czech live national final in 2020

Czech Republic is getting ready for 2020

In January the Czech broadcaster, Ceska Televize, already announced the return of a national final for the Czech Republic in 2020. This comes after their best result in history in 2018 and even before another good result this year. Ceska Televize now extended the submission deadline for entries till July 31st. This means almost one more month for songwriters and artists to submit their song for next years national final in the Czech Rebublic!

National final on January 25th, 2020!

The last time the Czech Republic hold a live national final was in 2008. Interested artists and songwriters can submit their entries by July 31st, 2020 to [email protected]. The rules are, that at least one lead singer needs to have the Czech nationality. The national final will be Saturday January 25th, 2020 in Forum Karlín in Prague. The same venue, Mikolas Josef did his first big debut show earlier this year.

This year the Czech Republic was represented by Lake Malawi and their entry “Friend Of A Friend”. They finished 11th in the Grand Final in Tel Aviv, giving the Czech Republic their second best result in history and they gave their country it’s third final qualification in the competition.
