Anggun is collaborating with P&G to hold a “Gemilang” charity concert to help Indonesian children get better education facilities. All ticket sales will be donated to Save the Children Indonesia to provide 100 study rooms in disaster-affected and in-need areas in Indonesia such as Palu, Donggala, Lombok, Sumba and West Java.

Save the Children Indonesia

A career spanning more than 20 years

With 11 studio albums and almost 40 singles to her name, Jakarta-born Anggun has maintained a successful career for more than twenty years, throughout Europe and South-East Asia.

She hit the Eurovision stage for France with “Echo (You and I)” seven years ago, earning a fan favourite status despite an eventual placing of 22nd in the grand final in the Azerbaijani capital city of Baku.

We wish Anggun and Save the Children Indonesia the best success for their concert on Friday.

My first memory of watching the Eurovision Song Contest was back in 2001 and, over the years, my passion and enthusiasm for the contest has very much turned into an obsession. I adore music and I love geography, so this contest is a natural fit for me. If la la loving Eurovision was a crime, I'd certainly be a criminal!
