🇬🇷 Greece will not return to Junior Eurovision in 2021

They have not participated since 2008

Following their withdrawal over a decade ago, Greek broadcaster ERT has confirmed that they will not be returning to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2021. They join a string of countries who will not be taking part in the contest this December.

2021 will mark their 13th consecutive non-participation

Greece’s ERT have ruled out a return to Junior Eurovision 2021. According to Eurovision Fun, Greece will not be returning to the Junior contest later this year. However, they will be reconsidering their decision for next year’s contest.

Greece were once a staple of Junior Eurovision, opening the inaugural edition back in 2003 and participating in every edition until their final appearance in 2008.
