We at ESCXTRA would like to extend warm congratulations to Franka Batelic on becoming pregnant with her first child, due in 2020!
Franka, who is married to Croatian Football icon Vedran Ćorluka announced their delight on their respected Instagram accounts.
“Our little person is coming”
Franka delightfully exclaims!
“2020 will be a special one our little family is getting bigger”
Ćorluka wrote.
The happy parents to be were not the only ones reveling in the delightful news as Ćorluka’s former Croatian team mates Šime Vrsaljko, Dejan Lovren, Ivan Perišić, and Luka Modrić piled on the congratulations!
Who is Vedran Ćorluka?
With 103 caps, he is one of the most capped Croatian players. His most notable achievement with Croatia is a Runners-Up medal in 2018 in Russia where Croatia lost to France in the Final 4-2. In 2018 he announced his international retirement.
He has played at many teams in his career including stints in Manchester City, Dinamo Zagreb, Tottenham Hotspur with loan spells at Beyer Leverkusen and Inter Zaprešić’ He currently plays at Lokomotiv Moscow.
Franka at Eurovision.
Franka and “Crazy” were internally selected by broadcaster HRT, so therefore earned the right to perform at Lisbon. At Lisbon, Franka was drawn to perform in Semi Final One where she was drawn song 12 in the running order. She came 17th with 63 points. Due to this, Franka failed to progress to the Grand Final.
