Familiar names among the contestants

As we previously reported, some familiar names from Eurovision and the national selections are taking part in New Wave this year. Probably most recognized name is AISEL, who represented Azerbaijan in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018.

Also competing are Albania’s Inis Neziri, who competed in Festivali i Këngës 56 and placed third, ANNA MARIA from Ukraine, who competed in Vidbir this year and Armenia’s Tyom who failed to qualify for the final of Armenia’s national final in 2018 with the song “Follow the Ocean”.

I started watching Eurovision back in 2006, when I was only 10 and couldn't stay up to see Lordi winning. I attended my first contest in 2013 in Malmö. I'm studying journalism and I love music — you will probably never see me without my headphones on.
