After confirming that it will be attending the party in Rotterdam, RTS has opened the submission for artists who are interested in representing Serbia in The Netherlands in 2020.
What are the requirements for submission?
The submission period is now open and will close on November 15. The submitted entries must follow the current Eurovision Song Contest rules, as well as these additional rules set by RTS:
- The lyrics of the competing entry must be in one of the official languages of Republic of Serbia.
- Foreign composers are allowed to participate in the competition, whilst the singer/s of the competing entry must be a citizen of the Republic of Serbia.

Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019
In 2019, Serbia selected Nevena Božović to represent Serbia in Tel Aviv, with her song ‘Kruna‘. This was Nevena’s third participation at a Eurovision event. She has previously participated in Junior Eurovision in 2007 and in Eurovision in 2013 with Moje 3.
During her participation in Tel Aviv, Nevena managed to bring Serbia to the Grand Final for a second consecutive year. Overall, she managed to finish 18th Overall, receiving 35 Points from the Jury Vote and 54 Points from the Public Vote.
