New Music Friday with Luca Hänni, Gabriella, Eleni Foureira and more!

Another week over, so it's time for some new music! We've had a look around and selected some amazing tracks by our favourite Eurovision related artist. Slightly later than normal, but here's New Music Friday! Luca Hänni - Bella Bella It seems the Latin inspired tunes Luca Hänni brought to the contest gave him a new impulse to his career. After scoring a magnificent fourth place at Eurovision 2019, the Swiss singer has finally released his long-awaited follow-up single: "Bella Bella". The song is exactly what fans were hoping for. A modern, European take on Latin inspired pop music. The composers behind "Bella Bella" are the same as those for "She Got Me": Laurell Barker, Frazer Mac, Jon Hällgren and Lukas Hällgren. They got help from Pele Loriano, who was responsible for A&R for the Eurovision effort. Her infectuous "On cherche encore (Never get enough)" was a favourite to qualify, but sadly didn't. Gabriella however didn't throw in the towel. Her new album "Étrangère" is coming soon, and she has already released the second single from the album: "Cause Toujours". "Cause Toujours" is a great French pop song, with the playful character which makes Gabriella such a wonderful artist. They went big, selecting their biggest local star: Emma Marrone. She went to Copenhagen with "La Mia Città" and delivered Italy's worst result... It didn't particularly harm her career in her home nation, though. Emma is still going strong. Her raspy vocal and strong pop rock vibes make her a unique artist. Barei - Las Chicas Buenas The good girls of Spanish pop music are here! Chenoa and Barei have dropped their collaboration "Las Chicas Buenas" and it is as playful and cheerful as you can imagine. That must also have been what crossed Bilal Hassani's mind when he came up with the idea for his new single. It's called "Je Danse Encore". The song is less dramatic than Hassani's Eurovision effort "Roi", but still carries a clear message about happiness. It has a distinctive summery French sound and is worth a listen. And that is exactly as exciting as it sounds. Her country sound is more mature than ever and gives you the feeling of an extraordinary artist at work. And that is exactly what Ilse DeLange is. At the Eurovision Song Contest, she brought the Netherlands their first top three finish in 39 years and just this year, she pointed AVROTROS to Duncan Laurence and we know how that ended... DeLange can, with right, be considered a true treasure for the Dutch music business. But it's important to never forget where you came from, so the Polish singer has decided to give us a good old pop effort in Polish. Lil Barty - Allo Level If there's an artist we like for dropping singles left, right and centre, it's Eleni Foureira. She does songs in Spanish, English and, of course, Greek. Her latest offering is another collaboration, this time with Lil Barty. The runner-up of the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 has teamed up with the hip hop artist to create "Allo Level". LIAMOO is your go to guy! The 21 year old won Swedish Idol back in 2016 and has since taken part at Melodifestivalen twice in a row. After coming sixth in the final in 2018, he finished in third in 2019.
