The YouTube stream will not be available in Ukraine and United Kingdom. Viewers from those nations should watch the show via their national broadcasters UA:PBC and BBC.
At 9pm CEST, the Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light will begin live on the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel which you can watch right here as well as on more than 40 broadcasters around Europe and beyond. Tonight’s show will celebrate the 41 entries of the 2020 Eurovision Song Contest as well as featuring many special guests and surprises.
What to expect?
As explained by eurovision.tv, here is the official premise for tonight’s special show being aired as replacement for the grand final of the cancelled 2020 Eurovision Song Contest:
In addition to spotlighting the 41 songs of 2020, the unique production will include special performances from popular artists from Eurovision’s past. 2020’s artists will also join together, from their locations across Europe, in a unifying performance of 1997’s Eurovision winner Love Shine A Light by Katrina And The Waves.
Of course, we are all greatly disappointed that we aren’t watching the grand final live from Rotterdam this evening. Nevertheless, it’s time for the Eurovision family to come together for Eurovision: Europe Shine A Light!
