“Calon yn Curo” is the song the winner of Chwilio am Seren will sing representing Wales at Junior Eurovision 2019. The live national final for Wales will be broadcast on S4C on September 24th.
Translating to “Heart Beating”, the song is composed by Sylvia Strand, Ed Holden, and John Gregory. John represented Cyprus at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest as part of the act ‘Jon Lilygreen & The Islanders’.
S4C will broadcast the final of Chwilio am Seren live from Venue Cymru in Llandudno. The six finalists are:

- Cerys
- Erin
- Y Minis
- Carys
- Mackenzie & Rhiannon
A combination of audience votes and votes from industry experts will determine the winner.
Wales in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Wales made their debut in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest last year in Minsk. They were one of two debuting nations, the other being Kazakhstan. Both countries are returning for the 2019 contest in Gliwice-Silesia.
Manw represented Wales in 2018, with the song “Perta”, finishing in last place with 29 points, one point behind Serbia in 19th place. Wales scored no points from the jury voting, gaining all their points in the online voting.
