John Lundvik featuring The Mamas in the Eurovision Song Contest

During the fourth semi-final of Melodifestivalen, John Lundvik managed to pack the Swedish audience with Too Late For Love. He easily qualified for the final in Stockholm. It was no different on Saturday 9 March. John and The Mamas won both the international jury votes and the televoting. As a result, they were allowed to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv.

Then, in May 2019, John and his Mamas were in the second semifinal. There, they finished in third place and therefore qualified for the final on Saturday, May 18, 2019. There they became second in the jury and ninth in the televoting, which earned them a nice top five position. With that we can crown Sweden as by far the best scoring country of the decade.
