Lindita participating at Kënga Magjike

Lindita is no stranger to Kënga Magjike. In 2009, she participated, with the song ‘Të dua vërtet‘, which won in the Best Rock category. In an Instagram story last month, Lindita ask her Instagram followers if she should participate in this year’s competition. Overwhelmingly, the response was positive, thus confirming her participation.

After her slick and well-choreographed performance, Lindita took the time to thank everyone for their support and to express how happy she is performing in Albania once again.

Lindita at the Eurovision Song Contest

In 2017, Albania selected its Eurovision Song Contest participant through Festival i Kegnes. Lindita won the right to represent Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kyiv with her song ‘World‘. Despite being a fan favorite, Lindita, unfortunately, failed to qualify for the Grand Final placing 14th in the Semi-Final with 76 points.

I started watching Eurovision ever since I moved to the UK in 2006, obsessed since 2012 and haven't looked back since.
