Cristina Ramos claims she ‘would love to’ represent Spain at Eurovision 2020

Will Spain go the rock opera route next year?

Last week we reported that Spain will be selecting their Eurovision 2020 entrant internally. With that in mind, it appears that various Spanish artists are open to the idea of representing their country next year. In this case, Cristina Ramos is certainly one of them.

‘A dream and an honour’

Rock opera singer Cristina Ramos spoke to VIVAEUROVISION recently on her success in the last few years. Cristina won the first series of Got Talent España back in 2016 and finished 4th in America’s Got Talent: The Champions. Earlier this month, she took part in Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions, but was eliminated in week 3.

During the interview, VIVAEUROVISION asked Cristina whether or not she would like to represent Spain at Eurovision next year. To which she replied:

‘Yes, of course. I would love to. Eurovision is one of the biggest shows in the world! And representing my country would be a dream and an honour’

The interviewer then went on to ask if she is in conversation with the broadcaster, RTVE. Cristina said that she personally isn’t in touch with them, however, a representative has spoken on behalf of her.

Cristina further explained how Eurovision would be “an unforgettable experience” in her career.

VIVAEUROVISION: What would Eurovision bring to your career?

Cristina: An unforgettable experience. And the other hand, finish opening the doors in my country, since here I am only known for being the winner of the first Got Talent España
