Georgian Idol will be back to decide who will represent Georgia at Eurovision next year. With the selection starting later this month, broadcaster GPB have revealed the four jury members taking part in the show.
Old and new faces
Natia Todua and Tinatin Berdzenishvili will be returning to the jury panel. Meanwhile, the new faces of this year’s jury consist of David Evgenidze and David Aladashvili. Evgenidze was recently part of the jury for Ranina, Georgia’s national selection for Junior Eurovision. He will be responsible for composing and producing Georgia’s 2020 entry. Aladashvili on the other hand, is a pianist and obtains a Master’s degree from The Juilliard School in New York.

Georgian Idol kicks off on 26 October at 10pm Georgian time. This will mark the beginning of the 2020 national selection season.
Georgia in Eurovision 2019
Oto Nemsadze won Georgian Idol in the 2018/2019 season and represented Georgia with his song “Keep on Going”. It failed to reach the final and finished 14th in the first semi final.
