Eurovision 2012 winner Loreen has surprised fans this week with the release of her new single ‘Walk With Me’. Loreen collaborated with Nordic fashion chain Ellos for her new single for their fall campaign.

About ‘Walk With Me’
Loreen’s version of ‘Walk with Me’ is a cover, and was originally sung by Julia Jonas. Julia’s version of the track focuses more on instrumentation. However, Loreen puts her own spin. Her version has a more synth-pop element to it, and you can hear Loreen’s signature harmonies into her own spin.
Lyrically, the song’s message is about embracing diversity and everyone’s right to be included in society. Anna Westlund, Creative Director at Ellos, spoke about their collaboration and how Loreen was a perfect fit for this campaign.

Loreen at the Eurovision Song Contest
In 2011, Loreen competed in Melodifestivalen in Sweden with her track ‘My Heart is Refusing Me‘. However, despite giving an energetic performance she failed to qualify for the Grand Final from Andra Chansen.
Loreen came back the year after with ‘Euphoria‘ in which she won in Baku and managed to break a record by being the participant with the most 12 Points ever received by a contestant.
5 Years after her win, Loreen tried for Eurovision again by competing in Melodifestivalen with ‘Statements‘. Despite being the favorite by betting odds and fans to win the contest she was shockingly eliminated in Andra Chansen.
