Poland’s public broadcaster TVP has recently confirmed its intention to participate in the upcoming Eurovision song contest to be held in the Netherlands in May 2020.
The news comes from Polish eurovision site eurowizija.org after recent speculations that Polish participation for Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam was uncertain. However, the broadcaster has confirmed now that we will see Poland in Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam next May.
Selection format unknown
Little has been revealed about the selection process the Polish entry for Rotterdam will be used. However, more updates on the matter are expected to be revealed by TVP soon.
The top priority of the channel is, moreover, to hosting of the Junior Eurovision 2019 in Poland on November 24th, in Gliwice-Silesia.

Poland in Eurovision
Poland debuted in Eurovision Song Contest in 1994, finishing in 2nd place which to date is the country’s highest place in the contest.
In 2019, Poland was represented Tulia with the song “Fire of Love” (Pali się), which finished in 11th place in the Semi-Final with 120 points, missing a spot for the grand final by just 2 points.
