Tatyana Mezhentseva and Denberel Oorzhak have released the video for their Junior Eurovision 2019 entry “A Time For Us”. The duo will represent Russia at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Gliwice-Silesia, Poland.

Tatyana and Denberel recently won Russia’s national selection to choose their Junior Eurovision entry. Leading up to the televised show the duo won the online vote, then during the show placed joint first with the kids’ jury and joint second with the adults’ jury. They’ll be hoping their strong result at the national final will repeat itself at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Russia in Junior Eurovision

Tatyana and Oorzhak will follow in the footsteps of Anna Filipchuk who represented Russia in last year’s contest in neighbouring Belarus with the anthemic “Unbreakable”. Anna places 10th to continue Russia’s streak of reaching the top 10 on every Junior Eurovision appearance.

To date, Russia have taken victory twice. Their first win arrived in 2006 courtesy of the Tolmachevy Twins. Then, in 2017, Polina Bogusevich took home the trophy in Tbilisi with power ballad “Wings”.
