Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019
In 2018, PBS decided to bring X Factor to Malta. Whilst doing this, they have confirmed that the winner will be representing Malta in Tel Aviv. Afterwards, Michela was crowned as the winner, thus winning the right to represent Malta in Israel.
Subsequently, it was decided that Michela’s entry for Eurovision 2019 will be ‘Chameleon’. During her participation in Tel Aviv, Michela managed to bring Malta to the Grand Final after two years of non-qualification. Overall she managed to place 14th with 107 points.
