Sanremo Festival to cover Italian hits

The third night of Sanremo Festival will commence tonight, live from the Ariston Theatre. Last night ten acts from the established singers category were presented while Conchita Wurst gave a tremendous performance of her new single Heroes.
Tonight all 20 artists will sing a cover of one of the best Italian hits. The press and public will vote for the best interpretation. The winner of the combined vote will be presented with an award.
Tonight’s cover songs include some from past Italian Eurovision representatives i.e. Domenico Modugno, Gigliola Cinquetti and Massimo Ranieri.
Meanwhile during yesterday’s show six acts led the vote while another four are in danger to leave the competition early.

The third night of Sanremo Festival will start at 20:30 CET and you can watch the show by clicking here. The Sanremo gala show will once again be hosted by Carlo Conti, assisted by last year’s Italian Eurovision hopeful, Emma Marrone and Arisa (winner of Sanremo 2014). Spanish beauty, Rocio Munoz Morales will stun the stage along with Conti and the two other former winners of Sanremo.
