She has been on stage since her childhood, five years ago she finished second in ‘The Voice Van Vlaanderen’ and in 2016 she represented Belgium at the Eurovision Song Contest. We are talking about Laura Tesoro! Her long-awaited debut album ‘Limits’ came out on 25 October.

Meet the vulnerable side of Laura

She is only 23 years old, but can currently call herself one of the most popular Belgian artists. Laura Tesoro has been in the showbiz for a long time. The whole of Flanders has been able to enjoy her singing talent, but also her dancing and acting talent! All those experiences she has already had made her the woman she is today. A self-confident young lady who is now completely ready for the next step in her career: releasing a first full CD. That wish was fulfilled on October 25! On the record ‘Limits’ Laura shows another side of her. The sensitive and vulnerable person who is hiding in her comes up. On the album Laura is also a place for romance. Laura Tesoro in the Eurovision Song Contest

In January 2016, Laura won the Belgian preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest. So she was allowed to represent Belgium in Stockholm with her funky ‘What’s The Pressure’.

The entry received relatively little attention until the rehearsals started in Stockholm. Laura’s first rehearsal surprised everyone and fans started changed their mind. They suddenly saw a sure qualifier in Belgium. Laura and her dancers also realized that, because she actually made it to the final! From the conclusion in the second semifinal to the show opener in the grand finale. Finally she finished sixth with the jury voting and 16th with the televoting. That earned her a very nice tenth place.
