🇬🇧 Jenny Ryan performs Rise Like a Phoenix on X Factor Celebrity

The Vixen rose like a phoenix!

Most famous for being champion quizzer, ‘The Vixen’, on ITV quiz show The Chase, Jenny Ryan gave a rousing rendition of Conchita’s Eurovision winner “Rise Like a Phoenix” in the first live show of The X Factor: Celebrity.

A revamped show this autumn

In the latest iteration of The X Factor in the UK, some famous faces are taking to the stage to perform for the chance to win a recording contract as part of the début series of The X Factor: Celebrity. This year’s acts took part in an audition round at Simon Cowell’s house in front of this year’s judging panel – Cowell, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzinger – and a whole host of songwriters, musicians and radio hosts.

Jenny Ryan performs “Somebody to Love” by Queen as her audition piece!

Tonight’s first live show was a chance for each act to really demonstrate who they are on the stage in front of the judges and audience, and Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan certainly took her chance well!

Performing Conchita Wurst’s winning entry from the Eurovision Song Contest 2014, Jenny gave a rousing performance after being reinstated into the competition due to popular demand… after being inexplicably eliminated last week at the audition round.

Her performance of “Rise Like a Phoenix” earned Jenny Ryan the ‘safe seat’ for the Overs category and she will perform again next week. The Vixen truly rose like a phoenix tonight!
