More artists rumored for next year's competition

As we are getting closer to the reveal of the artists participating at next yearโ€™s Melodifestivalen, Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet has released more names as to who could potentially be in next yearโ€™s competition.

Previously, the newspaper has reported Victor Crone, Hanna Ferm, Jakob Karlberg and The Mamas as among the participants of next year’s competition. SVT is set to announced the official list of paticipants for Melodifestivalen 2020, hopefully within this month.

Eric Saade

Kicking things off, Eric has participated in Melodifestivalen three times. He even had the opportunity to represent Sweden in Dรผsseldorf back in 2011, where Eric managed to bring Sweden back to the Grand Final after their non-qualification in 2010 and managed to place 3rd. Recently, he co-hosted this year’s Melodifestivalen and have received a positive reception for his role.

Albin Johnsรฉn

Albin is a Swedish rapper, and has reached the top of the Swedish charts with his song Din soldat, which has featured vocals with Kristin Amparo, who has participated in Melodifestivalen. If true, this will be Albin’s second participation in Melodifestivalen. His first participation was back in 2016 with Mattias Andrรฉasson where they managed to reach Second Chance.

Suzi P

Suzi is sixteen years old and started releasing covers on Youtube last year. She has released a few singles throughout the past year. Aftonbladet has reported that she is exactly the kind of artist that SVT wants to bring in to rejuvenate the contest. She is a strong and tough young girl who raps.
