๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ OG3NE wins ‘Dance Dance Dance’

We had known for a while that the sisters Lisa, Amy and Shelley could sing really well. Now they have discovered a new hidden talent, dancing! After weeks of hard work, OG3NE won the Dutch dancing competition ‘Dance Dance Dance’ on 1 November.

Former Eurovision participants

Former Eurovision participants also took part in previous editions. Toppers member Jeroen Van der Boom finished in season 2 (2016) in sixth place. A year later, Edsilia Rombley (Eurovision 1998 & 2007) put on her dance shoes and finished fourth. Last year Marlayne Sahupala (Eurovision 1999) participated and also finished fourth. This year it was the turn of the sisters of OG3NE. They are therefore the first trio to participate in the competition, and they have won it with flying colours.

Nothing but praising jury comments for OG3NE

In the final of Friday, 1 November, the sisters danced two collective choreographies to music by Lady Gaga and Rag n ‘Bone Man. Later in the show, Shelley and Amy each did a solo dance. With a Jennifer Lopez medley for Shelley and a Britney Spears medley for Amy, the twins showed a good healthy dose of girl power. So those four dances were enough to win the final, and therefore the entire program.

The full performances are unfortunatly geo-blocked, but if you want to watch how Lisa, Amy and Shelley won this dance competition, check their Instagram-pages!

100.000 Euros to charity organisation ‘Longfonds’

The participants dance not only for themselves and the audience, but also for a charity they have chosen. OG3NE won 100,000 euros for ‘Longfonds’. Longfonds is doing everything to make life easier for patients of lung diseases. They are committed to a smoke-free life with healthy indoor and outdoor air. In addition, they boost medical breakthroughs aimed at preventing asthma and repairing broken lungs.

OG3NE in the Eurovision Song Contest

Lisa, Amy and Shelley or OG3NE, represented The Netherlands in Kyiv during the Eurovision Song Contest of 2017. Their song “Lights And Shadows” meant a lot to the sisters. It was an ode to their mother who then suffered from bone cancer. When OG3NE reached the final for The Netherlands, their mother gathered all the strength and flew all the way to Ukraine to support her daughters. Two months later we received the sad news that their mother had died. The Netherlands finished in 11th place.
