🇪🇸 PrePartyES confirms hosts and 4 more acts

While the Eurovision preparties are not organized as usual, fans can still enjoy a virtual experience with some of their favourite artists. The Spanish online preparty has added 4 more names to the list, making a total of 16 artists for far. Furthermore, they have announced who will be hosting the show: Blas Cantó, Suzy & Víctor Escudero! The show will take place on April 24th.

‘Douze points’ for douze acts

Eurovision-Spain.com have been keeping fans posted with new artist announcements on Twitter, recently announcing two batches of acts that will take part in the pre-party. The confirmed acts so far from Eurovision 2021 are:

  • Montaigne (Australia)
  • Efendi (Azerbaijan)
  • Hooverphonic (Belgium)
  • VICTORIA (Bulgaria)
  • Albina (Croatia)
  • Barbara Pravi (France)
  • Jendrik (Germany)
  • Lesley Roy (Ireland)
  • Samanta Tina (Latvia)
  • Destiny (Malta)
  • Rafal (Poland)
  • The Black Mamba (Portugal)
  • Vasil (North Macedonia)
  • Senhit (San Marino)
  • Hurricane (Serbia)
  • Go_A (Ukraine)

The organisers have confirmed that this year’s pre-party will “highlight the debuts of the participating countries” in Eurovision as “a faithful reflection of the history of Europe”. Furthermore, the show will be hosted by some people that fans are sure to recognize: Spain’s 2020/2021 representative Blas Cantó, Portugal’s 2014 representative Suzy, and Víctor Escudero, who works for Eurovision.tv and Spanish broadcaster TVE.

Several in-person pre-parties have already been cancelled this year. Amsterdam’s Eurovision in Concert has been postponed until 2022, while the London Eurovision Party has also been cancelled for the second year in a row. The Spanish pre-party was the first to be confirmed for this year, albeit being hosted online.
