Rehearsing today for Armenia inside the Gliwice Arena is Karina Ignatyan, performing “Colours Of Your Dream”. As the first rehearsals are closed to the press, this review is based upon content made public by the EBU and TVP.

VISUALS: This performance certainly has echoes of Karina’s music video. It’s really ethereal with lots of sparkles, as if there is glitter floating and glistening in the air or perhaps the inside of a snow globe. There’s a really nice violet floral pattern, including that for fans of the adult contest will be somewhat reminiscent of Katarina Duska’s visuals from Tel Aviv. And if either of those images aren’t enough – there are some butterflies too!

VOCALS: Karina’s vocals are strong and arresting!

CHOREO/PERFORMANCE: In the clip, Karina is joined by four extra performers who all enter through a large ornate iron gate. It’s very otherworldly and visually captivating. Armenia tend to have bombastic and well-thought out performances and 2019 is not an exception.

Stay tuned for our reviews for the rest of today’s rehearsals from the Gliwice Arena. If you want to know what to expect for the rest of the day, check out our rehearsal schedule.
