Just last Friday, Nicky Byrne and his mates from Westlife, released their brand new album “Spectrum”. It’s their first album in nine years and the first sale numbers we are getting are huge! The album features eleven songs including the hits “Helly My Love”, “Better Man”, “My Blood” and “Dynamite”. The album is on the way to reach the top in both Ireland and the UK if the sales keep their momentum from the weekend. Music giants such as Ed Sheeran & Ryan Tedder are writers of some songs.
The biggest comeback of the year!
Even before releasing their long-anticipated album “Spectrum”, the guys went on a sold-out tour in the UK and Ireland including selling out Croke Park (2x 80.000 tickets) within minutes. Now their eleventh album “Spectrum” was released and the sales are looking huge!
“Spectrum” will debut at Number 1 in Ireland with probably the biggest sales week of any album this year. This would mark the bands 11th #01 album in the country. In the UK the chances for debuting on Number 1 of the official album charts are equally high.
Westlife are well on their way to scoring their first UK Number 1 album in over a decade. The group’s eleventh studio album and first for nine years Spectrum leads today’s Official Chart Update, and is outselling the rest of the Top 10 combined in the race for Friday’s Number 1, the Official Charts Company can confirm. Spectrum has already shifted in excess of 50,000 chart sales.
But there is no stopping them. In 2020 Westlife will go on an even bigger tour in Ireland and UK with all the hits from their brand new album and the past hits. Tickets are already on sale and the dates can be found below. More dates are planned to be released.
