🇰🇿 LIVE DAY 3 REVIEW: shadow play from Kazakhstan’s Yerzhan

ESCXTRA are live in Poland at the Gliwice Arena press centre for day 3 of rehearsals ahead of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019! The countries rehearsing today, in chronological order, are Albania, Armenia, Australia, Belarus, France, Georgia, Ireland, Italy, Kazakhstan and Malta.

Read our handy guide for a more detailed look at this contest’s rehearsal schedule.

Rehearsing right now inside the Gliwice Arena is Yerzhan Maksim, performing ‘Armanyńnan qalma’ for Kazakhstan. We will continue to update this article with any additional information, so make sure to keep refreshing for the most up-to-date review!

REVIEW: Yerzhan starts the song in front of the screen with a shadow mimicking his movements before a bird is released on screen. It then cuts to a curtain that is pulled by one of the dancers to reveal Yerzhan and the other dancers on stage. At this point Yerzhan really showcases his impressive powerful vocals.

And here’s a reminder of what we saw in their first rehearsal:

Votes can be cast via vote.junioreurovision.tv. Viewers from all over the world can vote for between three and five countries.

The first round of voting will open on Friday 22nd November at 8pm CET and will close at 3.59pm CET on Sunday 24th November, just before the beginning of the live broadcast. Then, voting will reopen during the show for fifteen minutes following the final performance so that any final votes can be cast.

Stay tuned for our reviews for the rest of today’s rehearsals from the Gliwice Arena. If you want to know what to expect for the rest of the day, check out our rehearsal schedule.
