πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Έ LIVE DAY 4 REVIEW: Spain shines with Melani’s outstanding vocals

ESCXTRA are live in Poland at the Gliwice Arena press centre for day 4 of rehearsals ahead of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019! The countries rehearsing today, in chronological order, are North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Wales, Serbia, Spain, The Netherlands and Ukraine.

Read our handy guide for a more detailed look at this contest’s rehearsal schedule.

Rehearsing right now inside the Gliwice Arena is Melani Garcia, performing β€œMarte” for Spain. We will continue to update this article with any additional information, so make sure to keep refreshing for the most up-to-date review!

REVIEW: The song starts with an intimate moment as Melani is sat down on her podium with the audience behind her. She raises and turns to perform the rest of the song on the podium. The sea themes of the song and music video carry over to the staging. Fishing nets with plastic hang down across the stage and there’s an ocean backdrop. Outstanding vocals from Melani as ever. This is a really great presentation from Spain which will hopefully carry the eco message it wants to send to the viewers at home.

And here’s a reminder of what we saw in their first rehearsal:

Votes can be cast via vote.junioreurovision.tv. Viewers from all over the world can vote for between three and five countries.

The first round of voting will open on Friday 22nd November at 8pm CET and will close at 3.59pm CET on Sunday 24th November, just before the beginning of the live broadcast. Then, voting will reopen during the show for fifteen minutes following the final performance so that any final votes can be cast.

Stay tuned for our reviews for the rest of today’s rehearsals from the Gliwice Arena. If you want to know what to expect for the rest of the day, check out our rehearsal schedule.
