Read our handy guide for a more detailed look at this contest’s rehearsal schedule.
Rehearsing right now inside the Gliwice Arena is Sophia Ivanko, performing “The Spirit Of Music” for Ukraine. We will continue to update this article with any additional information, so make sure to keep refreshing for the most up-to-date review!
REVIEW: Ukraine lets the screen do all the work – the ‘ribbons’ are not lit for most of the song making a unique effect. Flashes of light dance around the arena for the chorus and the camera spins around Sophia. There’s a lot of swirling imagery throughout but no central theme for the screens. For the climax Sophia spins as the camera is above showing more swirling imagery on the floor. Sophia is confident on stage, singing well and really feeling the music.
And here’s a reminder of what we saw in their first rehearsal:
Votes can be cast via vote.junioreurovision.tv. Viewers from all over the world can vote for between three and five countries.
The first round of voting will open on Friday 22nd November at 8pm CET and will close at 3.59pm CET on Sunday 24th November, just before the beginning of the live broadcast. Then, voting will reopen during the show for fifteen minutes following the final performance so that any final votes can be cast.
