Stephen Clerima
Steven Clerima’s tenure
He was at the helm for France’s return to Junior Eurovision last year, where Angรฉlina came an impressive 2nd with the song ‘Jamais Sans Toi’.
In the following adult contest, he supported Bilal Hassani in Tel Aviv.
More recently, he oversaw Carla’s energetic ‘Bim Bam Toi’ – an energetic fan favourite!
In all three participations in Eurovision/Junior events – it is clear Steven was an continues to be a huge fan of the contest and ethos that grounds Eurovision. Bringing colour, fun and diversity to performances that have enriched not only France’s record, but the contest as a whole!
New horizons for France
What is coming up for the contest is a continuation of all the work done in recent years and I wish all the best to the next HOD! Go France!

But who is the next Head of Delegation for France? Well fans haven’t had to wait long, as moments ago it was announced who Steven’s successor will be.
Alexandra Redde-Amiel, Director of Entertainment and Variety at France Tรฉlevisions has been appointed the new Head of Delegation.
Notably, Ms. Redde-Amiel recently stated a potential shakeup to how France would select its entry for Rotterdam:
What is certain is that the show will come back. In what form and with what name, it is not decided yet […] Our desire is to turn the Eurovision brand into a bigger event. We can not disappoint, because Eurovision has become the unmissable event of entertainment on France 2 for viewers.
Ms Rede-Amiel on the long-term goal for Eurovision
This is the best entertainment audience of the year, the one that brings together all audiences.
