🇳🇴 Norway to reveal Melodi Grand Prix 2020 participants on January 6

Who will follow KEiiNO's footsteps?

As we are getting closer to January, we are getting closer to the start of the 2020 Melodi Grand Prix. After the announcement of changes to the selection for their jubilee year, the announcement of the dates and the hosts. The only thing that is missing is the participants, and NRK has confirmed that they will be revealed on January 6.

You are able to watch the participant reveal of the Melodi Grand Prix 2020 artists on NRK’s website the NRK Facebook page at 12:10 on the 6th January.

Melodi Grand Prix 2020

Next year’s Melodi Grand Prix will commence on January 11, 2020 and is set to conclude on February 15, 2020. The Semi-Finals stage of the competition will take place in Fornebu, with the final taking place in Trondheim.

  • Southern Norway – 11th January
  • East Norway – 18th January
  • Central Norway – 25th January
  • West Norway – 2nd February
  • Northern Norway – 8th February
  • Final – 15th February

Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019

Norway selected KEiiNO through their national selection ‘Melodi Grand Prix’ to represent them in Tel Aviv with their song ‘Spirit in the Sky’.

In Tel Aviv, KEiiNO managed to bring Norway to the Grand Final for a third consecutive year. The group managed to win the popular vote and placed sixth overall in the competition with 331 points.
