The preparations for Eurovision 2020 in Rotterdam are in full swing. As time goes on we find out more and more details. On 23 January, travel agency Corendon announced its partnership with the contest. One day later we introduce you another partner, KPN.
KPN – introduction
KPN (in full Koninklijke KPN N.V.) is a supplier of telecommunication and IT services and offers consumers fixed and mobile telephony, internet and television. Founded in the 20th century and you can find the headquarters in Rotterdam. They provide complete telecommunication and IT solutions for business customers. The company offers wholesale network services to other operators worldwide. Until 1998, the company wore the name ‘Koninklijke PTT Nederland NV’. The company also included the national postal company until the division of TNT Post in 1998.

In the article of the KPN collaboration announcement you can already read a first response from Executive Supervisor Jon Ola Sand. He reacted in a very pleased and satisfied way that he is very enthusiastic about this collab. KPN assures the delegations and journalists to be able to stay connected with the wide world at the contest.
KPN’s director of sponsorship Mark Versteegen says: “With ‘the network of the Netherlands’, we will ensure the right fibre optic, mobile and Wi-Fi connections before and during one of the largest European media spectacles ever organized in the Netherlands. Rotterdam and the whole of the Netherlands will be under the spell of the Eurovision Song Contest in May and together with many of our employees we will make an important contribution to the success of the organization with our reliable network.”
