France at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest

France first appeared at the Junior Eurovision stage in 2004. That year Thomas Pontier performed the song Si On Voulait Bien and came sixth. After this, the country withdrew.

Everything has changed in 2018 when France reconsidered the Junior Eurovision participation and made a decision to come back. Angélina with her song “Jamais Sans Toi” had a quite successful performance and came 2nd.

Last year the national broadcaster selected Carla to represent France with her song “Bim Bam Toi“. She reached the Top 5 and came 5th.
