Rafaela Truda, Ylona and Stella Christine, who all took part in Finland’s Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2016, have formed a girl group called HEROINES. They also announced they will take part in the Finnish version of All Together Now.
About HEROINES
Rafaela Truda, Ylona and Stella Christine all took part in Finland’s Eurovision 2016 selection Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2016. Only one of them, Stella Christine, qualified to the final of the contest.
Rafaela Truda competed with the song “Rise Up” and finished fourth in the second semifinal of the contest. After UMK, Rafaela Truda tried her luck in Finnish Idol and The Voice of Finland. In The Voice of Finland she made it all the way to the liveshows.
Ylona (born Ilona Savolainen) also competed in the second semifinal of UMK16 with the song “Blazing Fire“. She finished fifth and therefore failed to qualify to the final.
Stella Christine competed in the first semifinal of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2016 and qualified to the final by finishing second in the semifinal. In the final she finished eighth with the song “Ain’t Got Time for Boys“.
All Together Now Suomi
All Together Now was created in United Kingdom and first aired in 2018. The winner of the first season of the show was Michael Rice, who represented United Kingdom in Eurovision 2019.
The Finnish version of the format will premiere in April 2020. The show will be hosted by Jaana Pelkonen, who also hosted the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Finland.
All Together Now has a panel of 100 music experts and performers. The captain of the panel will be Laura Voutilainen, Finland’s Eurovision 2002 representative. Other members of the panel include UMK2017 contestant Knucklebone Oscar and UMK2013 contestant and Finland’s Eurovision 2016 backing singer Jepa Lambert.
