This week we are moving to the western part of Sweden as the second semifinal of Melodifestivalen 2020 will take place in Gothenburg this Saturday. Today SVT released snippets of the seven competing songs.
Melodifestivalen 2020: Deltävling 2
The one-minute-clips of the songs have been released as usual on SVT Play. Later tonight, SVT will also release rehearsal videos of each performance.
- Klara Hammarström – Nobody
- Jan Johansen – Miraklernas tid
- Dotter – Bulletproof
- Méndez feat. Alvaro Estrella – Vamos amigos
- Linda Bengtzing – Alla mina sorger
- Paul Rey – Talking in My Sleep
- Anna Bergendahl – Kingdom Come
Thorsten Flinck was disqualified from the selection and was replaced by Jan Johansen. Despite that, the snippet is of Thorsten Flinck’s version of the song. This version will also be on the official Melodifestivalen album.
Gothenburg’s Scandinavium arena will be the venue of the second semifinal. The live broadcast will start 20CET. Two songs will qualify to the final and two songs will be sent to the andra chansen -round.
The selection so far
Last week two first songs were selected to the final on March 7th.

- The Mamas – Move
Two songs qualified to the andra chansen round, and still have the chance to qualify to the final.
