Five artists have pre-qualified to the final of Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix 2020 without having to compete in the semifinals. Today fifth pre-qualified song, Tone Damli’s “Hurts Sometimes” was released.

The song is written by Helge Moen, Jim Bergsted, Jethro Fox and Tone Damli herself.
Tone Damli has taken part in Melodi Grand Prix as well as Sweden’s Melodifestivalen before. In 2009 she finished second behind Alexander Rybak with the song “Butterflies“. She took part in Melodifestivalen in 2013 together with Erik Segerstedt. They made it to the andra chansen but failed to qualify to the final with “Hello Goodbye“.
Melodi Grand Prix 2020
The fifth semifinal of Melodi Grand Prix 2020 will take place this Saturday. Four artists will compete for the tenth and final place in the final. Find out who is taking part by clicking here. Tone Damli will also perform her entry as part of the show.
The final of Norway’s national selection will take place on February 15th.
