Eurovision 2020🇳🇱 Netherlands

🇳🇱 Méér Muziek in de Klas announced as social partner of Eurovision 2020

The organization of the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam considers it extremely important that primary school children are actively involved. That is why Méér Muziek in de Klas offers a free song festival activation program. They also add a digital curriculum for all primary school students. They do all this in collaboration with Schooltv.nl.

What’s on the program?

Famous artists motivate kids to make music

They do this on the basis of activation videos related to the Eurovision Song Contest. The teachers find this very beneficial because they do not have time to prepare the lessons themselves. They do this on the basis of activation videos related to the Eurovision Song Contest. These videos are only part of the entire activation program. Furthermore, Méér Muziek in de Klas has also made lesson letters with which teachers can get started right away. They are very satisfied with that, because it brings many benefits since they do not have time to prepare the lessons themselves.

Primary school students invited to Ahoy Rotterdam

The school competition that Méér Muziek in de Klas organizes every year, will be all about the Eurovision Song Contest. Presenter Buddy Vedder called on all children to register for the Lang Leve de Muziek Wedstrijd 2020. The classes must make an auditing video with a wink to the Eurovision Song Contest. The winners of the contest will receive the tickets to the family show of semi final 2.

Eurovision in Rotterdam accessible to everyone

We have heard it many times, Rotterdam wants to make a Eurovision edition that is accessible to the entire population. Earlier we heard how the organization pays attention to people with disabilities, now it’s the children ‘s turn. Sietse Bakker explains: “With this 65th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest we want to connect generations together. That means that we not only strive to get as many people as possible to watch and participate in the Eurovision Song Contest together, but also that children actively get to work with it. This special collaboration makes this possible and we look forward to sharing their first real song festival experience in Rotterdam Ahoy with 1000 children: unique in 65 years of the Eurovision Song Contest!”
