Once again, Giorgos Kapoutzidis and Maria Kozakou will take over the role as commentatatos of ERT, the Greek broadcaster, during the three nights of the Eurovision Song Contest (First Semifinal, Second Semifinal, Final).
The duo, that appear to have excellent chemistry with each other, will be commenting for the 7th time together, since they together have aired the contest already in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2017 and 2019. Separately, this will be the ninth time for Maria Kozakou and the eighth for Giorgos Kapoutzidis.
They both debuted in Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens. Giorgos for television, and Maria for the radio broadcast.
Most broadcastings, on the role as commentator, have been made by Daphne Bokota after having broadcasted the competition 17 times in total. Mako Georgiadou is in second place with 15 transmissions, while Maria Kozakou is in 3rd place which has already made eight broadcasts in total. The top five are filled by George Kapoutzidis with seven so far and the Mangira sisters with two.

Giorgos Kapoutzidis is actor, screenwriter, TV presenter and now even writer. He is himself a big fan of the Eurovision Song Contest which he loves with passion, having been following it from a young age.
His first involvement with the contest professionally starts in 2006, when he, together with Zeta Makripoulia presented the Greek National final as hosts, and in 2013 and 2014 again as a host of the Greek National final together with Greek singer Despina Vandi.
However, between 2013 – 2019, with the exception of 2018, he took over the role as commentator for the contest on behalf of ERT.
Maria Kozakou is an active journalist and radio producer with over 20 years of presence. She has studied journalism and participates in national and European forums for the promotion of quality journalism. She is also Chief Editor at the Media Literacy Institute for the Promotion of Media Education. She has been working for ERT since 2001, presenting the Special Olympics opening and closing ceremonies as well as various other important artistic and scientific events.
