🇵🇱 Songwriters revealed for potential Eurovision entries in Szansa na Sukces

Many familiar names

According to Polish Eurovision news site eurowizja.org, we know all the songwriters for the potential Eurovision entries being performed in the final of Poland’s Szansa na Sukces.

Lake Malawi to perform “Lucy”

As previously speculated, in an interview with eurowizja.org, Albert Černý confirmed that he will perform the latest song by Lake Malawi “Lucy” in the final. Behind the song are Norway’s Eurovision 2017 representative JOWST (Joakim With Steen), the other half of Finland’s Eurovision 2017 entrant Norma John, Lasse Piirainen, 2018 bronze medalist Cesar Sampson, Alasdair Bouch and Albert himself.

Junior Eurovision winning team behind Alicja Szemplińska

In an interview with the eurowizja.org, Alicja Szemplińska revealed that her song was written by Patryk Kumór, Dominic Buczkowski-Wojtaszek and Laurell Barker.

Patryk Kumór and Dominic Buczkowski-Wojtaszek co-wrote the latest Junior Eurovision winning entry “Superhero”. Patryk Kumór also worked on Poland’s Junior Eurovision 2018 winning entry “Anyone I Want To Be”.

Laurell Barker has written several Eurovision entries in the past. These include the 2019 entries “She Got Me” for Switzerland, “Bigger Than Us” for United Kingdom and “Sisters” for Germany. She also has two songs in the fourth semifinal of this year’s Melodifestivalen.

Kasia Dereń to sing “Ufaj Mi”

The third finalist Kasia Dereń revealed on Instagram that she will sing the song “Ufaj Mi” in the final of the selection. Eurowizja.org tells that the song is written by Kasia Dereń together with Piotr Walicki, Marcin Januszkiewicz and Mateusz Krautwurst.

Next to the potential Eurovision entries, the three artists will also cover one Eurovision song in the final. The winner will be determined by a combination of jury voting and televoting.
