Estonia’s Eurovision 2024 Representatives: 5Miinust and Puuluup

5Miinust and Puuluup have emerged as the winners of Eesti Laul 2024, securing their spot to represent Estonia at the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö, Sweden.

The climax of Eesti Laul 2024 unfolded tonight at the Tondiraba Ice Hall in Tallinn, where a lineup of ten contenders showcased their talents, all vying for the chance to represent Estonia in Sweden.

Voting in the initial round involved all ten participants, with both the jury and the public casting their votes. The top three performers progressed to the super-final stage.

The performance order for the evening (with super-finalists highlighted in bold) was:

  • Brother Apollo – “Bad Boy”
  • Carlos Ukareda – “Never Growing Up”
  • Ewert and The Two Dragons – “Hold Me Now”
  • Anet Vaikmaa – “Serotoniin”
  • Ollie – “My Friend”
  • Daniel Levi – “Over the Moon”
  • Uudo Sepp, Sarah Murray – “Still Love”
  • Peter Põder – “Korra veel”
  • 5Miinust and Puuluup – “(Nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi”
  • Nele-Liis Vaiksoo – “Käte ümber jää”

During the super-final, the audience’s votes determined Eesti Laul 2024’s winner:

  • 5Miinust and Puuluup – “(Nendest) narkootikumidest ei tea me (küll) midagi” – Winner
  • Ollie – “My Friend” – 2nd
  • Nele-Liis Vaiksoo – “Käte ümber jää” – 3rd

Scheduled to perform in the latter segment of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024’s second semi-final, 5Miinust and Puuluup aim to build on the success of Alika, Estonia’s previous representative, who achieved an eighth-place finish with “Bridges” and a total of 168 points at last year’s contest in Liverpool.
