🇸🇪 Alcazar to reunite to perform at Melodifestivalen Andra Chansen

It's time to present the awards of Hall of Fame inductees!

As the Melodifestivalen final becomes closer and closer, the guest performers and special guests that will appear during this weekend’s Andra Chansen show in Eskilstuna have been announced. Alcazar will reunite for a performance and former Eurovision winners Loreen and Måns Zelmerlöw will also perform.

These performances will take place during Saturday’s extended show, which will see the first inductees to the Melodifestivalen Hall of Fame be inducted and receive their awards.

“Stay the Night” with Alcazar!

Hall of Fame inductees, Alcazar, will reunite for a special performance during the show after breaking up in 2018. They will be inducted into the Hall of Fame for their 2009 Melodifestivalen entry, “Stay the Night”.

Other performers at the show include Siw Malmkvist (Sweden 1960), Tomas Ledin (Sweden 1980), Björn Skifs (Sweden 1978 & 1981) and Agnetha Munther of Family Four (Sweden 1971 & 1972).

Eurovision 2015 winner, Måns Zelmerlöw will perform a duet with Lill Lindfors, who took part in the 1966 Eurovision Song Contest. She later went on to present the 1985 contest in Gothenburg. Eurovision 2012 winner, Loreen, will also perform a unique medley of her three Melodifestivalen entries during the show.

14-time Melodifestivalen entrant, Ann-Louise Hanson, will also perform. Ann-Louise holds the record for most entries in Melodifestivalen history as a performer!

Honorary guests will also be present

Many honorary guests will also be present at the show to receive their awards for their induction into the Hall of Fame. There are many famous Eurovision and Melodifestivalen names amongst the guests including:

  • Lena Philipsson (Sweden 2004, “It Hurts”)
  • Herreys (Eurovision 1984 winners, “Diggi-Loo, Diggi-Ley”)
  • Nanne Grönvall (Eurovision 1996, as part of One Last Time)
  • Thomas G:son (Songwriter)
  • Linnea Deb (Songwriter)
  • Sarah Dawn Finer (also known as Linda Woodruff)
  • Joy Deb (Songwriter)
  • Roger Pontare (Sweden 1994, with Marie Bergman & 2000, solo)
