Today the organiser of the annual #ESC250 poll Songfestival.be, have announced that the competing songs that would have taken part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 will be eligible to compete in this years poll.
This is a change from previous news the the class of 2020 would not be allowed into this years’ poll.
#ESC250 is an annual event that takes place on ESC Radio every New Years Eve. It’s a marathon 10 and a half hours of the 250 most loved Eurovision entries of all time.
What was previously stated.
A while ago Songfestival.be were asked whether that this years’ songs would compete in this years’ poll and they said that there were no plans to include them initially.
The update!
Now Songfestival.be clarified their initial position and will happily now include the class of 2020 in the poll as you can see in the tweet below.
