🇪🇸 Nicole Refsing to stage Blas Cantó’s Eurovision entry

Nicole has staged multiple Eurovision and Junior Eurovision entries

Recently, Spanish Broadcaster RTVE has confirmed that Nicole Refsing will be staging the 2020 Spanish entry in Rotterdam. Some of Nicole’s work include staging Dami Im’s ‘Sound of Silence‘, and Aminata Savadogo’s ‘Love Injected, and she recently staged Spain’s Junior Eurovision comeback entry ‘Marte‘ which placed 3rd.

About Nicole Refsing and Rockart Design

Nicole started in the industry by working with Mark Fisher of Stufish, where she designed the staging for Pink’s ‘Funhouse Tour’, which grossed over $150Million and saw over 1.5Million attendees.

Since then, she also became the Creative Director and Content Producer for the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, which took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, which saw her be responsible for all of the 37 competing artists.

Speaking to RTVE, Nicole mentions her excitement working with Blas for his Eurovision staging. She has also confirmed that Blas will be accompanied by five backing singers, in order to make the live performance in Rotterdam ‘Exciting, Ambitious & Explosive’.

“I love  Blas and ‘Universo’  and I’m looking forward to the process and  excited  to create a spectacular staging for the show in May

Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019

Spain selected Miki to represent Spain in Tel Aviv, through Operación Triunfo with his song ‘La Venda’. As a member of the Big Five, Spain automatically qualified for the Grand Final. La Venda closed the show and managed to finish 22nd with 54 Points.
