ALL…join in! It is Portugal’s first time hosting the big event and they are NOT trying to hide that fact, making sure people know exactly what is going on and spreading the message of inclusion through posters all over Lisbon.
You might already be in Lisbon, enjoying the fresh air, sightseeing and drinking bizarre coffee mixtures. If that is the case, you’ve surely noticed the effort Lisbon has put into advertising the big event. Instead of the usual toothpaste ads and airbrushed modeling billboards, you can find posters all over the city mentioning lots of Eurovision related lyrics, props and memories. Lisbon has tried its best to coat the city with the contest and scream “WELCOME, you are finally home” at any wandering Eurovision fan heading there these next two weeks. Here is only a small assortment of the posters you can find decorating Lisbon this very moment:
All Aboard!
The proofreader for some of these must have been taking a nap, but that doesn’t diminish the message of these beautiful posters: All Aboard! Which just happens to be the slogan (WHAT a coincidence) for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
