Tonight Romania chose the song for their internally selected artist Roxen. There were five options for the national jury and Romanian public to choose from and they decided that Roxen will sing “Alcohol You” in Rotterdam!

The winning song got the maximum 10 points after being the favourite of the jury and the Romanian public. The song is written by Viky Red, Ionut Armas and Breyan Isaac.
The jury on the national final consisted of Luminița Anghel, Crina Mardare, Alin Oprea, Edward Sanda and Andrei Tudor. They rated all the songs from 0 to 5.
Next to Roxen’s performances, we saw Cyprus’ Eurovision 2020 representative Sandro performing his versions of “Fuego” and “Replay”, Moldova’s 2020 representative Natalia Gordienco singing “Prison”, Norway’s 2020 representative Ulrikke singing her entry “Attention” and Eurovision 2012 winner Loreen. Dora Gaitanovici also performed in the final. The final was hosted by Elena Gheorghe and Connect-R, who both also performed during the show.
Romania will take part in the first semifinal of the contest on May 12th. Roxen will perform the song on the first half of the show.
