Moments ago, the voting opened for Senhit’s online song selection. You can now decide whether Senhit will perform “Freaky!” or “Obsessed” in Rotterdam.
Voting opened at 09:00 CET this morning, and will close tomorrow (Sunday 7th March) at 23:59 CET. The winner of the online vote will then be revealed on Monday 9th March. This is Senhit’s second time at the Eurovision Song Contest. She previously took part in the 2011 contest with her song “Stand By”.

The winner will be the song which receives the most votes over the weekend. Senhit told ESCXTRA in an interview that “I’m back. I’m ready. I will enjoy everything.” Are you ready for Senhit?
It is the second time that San Marino has used a national selection to select their entry for the contest. In 2018, they held their first national final 1in360 to choose their song for Lisbon. Jessika feat. Jenifer Brening won the selection with “Who We Are”. The song finished in 17th place in the semi-final at the contest.
The two songs up for voting in Senhit’s battle are “Freaky!” and “Obsessed”. “Freaky!” is an original song with a clear disco vibe. The other may however sound familiar if you kept track of Senhit’s 2019 singles, as “Obsessed” is the English version of her September 2019 single “Un Bel Niente”.
San Marino in the Eurovision Song Contest
San Marino made their Eurovision debut in 2008, when Miodio represented the micro nation with their Italian-language entry, “Complice”. The song failed to make the final, finishing last in the semi-final with only 5 points. Following their poor result, they withdrew from the contest and did not return until 2011.
In 2011, Senhit took part in the contest for the first time with “Stand By”. Again, the song failed to make the final finishing 16th in the semi-final. San Marino’s first appearance in the final didn’t come until 2014 when Valentina Monetta made the final with “Maybe”, on her third appearance in the contest, finishing 24th in Copenhagen.
Last year, Serhat represented San Marino with his song, “Say Na Na Na”. After finishing in 8th place in the semi-final, Serhat qualified for the final and finished in an eventual 19th place in the contest with 77 points.
