TONIGHT: Finalists’ live-on-tape performances revealed

The second part of the Eurovision Song Contest Celebration will premiere on the official Eurovision YouTube channel tonight!

The 2021 Eurovision Song Contest may be over, but the festivities haven’t ended just yet. With all 39 acts recording live-on-tape performances in the event of them not being able to travel to Rotterdam, the EBU has a treat for us. In two special presentations, the live-on-tape performances are being premiered, with the exception of the UK and Ireland’s.

The second Eurovision Song Contest Celebration shows will premiere on the official Eurovision YouTube channel tonight (Saturday 29 May). The show will be presented by Krista Siegfrids and will feature submissions from Eurovision fans. Last night saw 12 semi-finalists reveal their live-on-tape performances, and tonight it’s time for the finalists. The first instalment is available to watch on demand.

Further, according to Eurovision.tv, The United Kingdom’s live-on-tape performance will not be shown tonight. James decided that the performance he delivered in Rotterdam is the version he wants fans to remember. Ireland’s Lesley Roy also opted for this option, and so her live-on-tape was not shown yesterday. Both artists still feature in the shows, however, via the fan submission segments.
