🇸🇲 Senhit to release Eurovision covers on her journey to Rotterdam

We all know how San Marino’s Eurovision 2021 representative Senhit appreciates the contest.

As we are counting down to next year”s contest, Senhit has revealed that she will be releasing covers of her favourite Eurovision entries (which is promoted as her #FreakyTriptoRotterdam). Today, she has dropped a teaser of what she is releasing this month.

For July, Senhit has decided to release a cover of Bealrus’s 2014 entry ‘Cheesecake’ by TEO. In the preview we see that she is paying tribute to one of her favourite icons, Grace Jones.

One Eurovision cover per month

When Senhit revealed this month’s cover, she reveals that she has been hard at work with her team. For her covers, she is once again working with her long-time collaborator Luca Tommassini. She also revealed that she will be paying tribute to her icons, as well as having fun with crazy looks.

I’ve chosen my favourite songs from the Eurovision Song Contest and I’ve been working with the team on some very crazy ideas and I’m letting myself go, like never before, to pay tribute to my favourite “icons” and have fun with crazy looks.

I will post the first video the 15th of this months and all the other ones at midnight of the first day of the month.

Senhit at the Eurovision Song Contest

In 2011, Senhit represented San Marino in Düsseldorf (as Senit), with the song ‘Stand By‘. Unfortunately, she failed to qualify for the Grand Final when she placed 16th in the semi-final.

Nearly ten years on, Senhit announced her return to the Eurovision Song Contest. After an online-vote, it was announced that she will be singing ‘Freaky’. Despite the cancellation of the 2020 contest, it was announced that Senhit will represent San Marino at the 2021 Eurovision Song Contest
