🇫🇷 Carla releases new album “L’autre Moi”

French Junior Eurovision 2019 contestant Carla released her first album on June 5th. The album includes her viral JESC entry “Bim Bam Toi” as well as new music, including the title track “L’autre Moi.”

Carla at Junior Eurovision 2019

Carla Lazzari was selected to represent France in the 2019 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Gliwice-Silesia, Poland, with the song “Big Bam Toi.” One of the favorites to win, she ended up placing 5th out of a field of 19, coming third with the public vote.

After the contest, her song went viral on the social networking site TikTok after French fitness vlogger Juju Fitcats featured it in a TikTok post. Soon after, the “Bim Bam Boum Challenge” made Carla’s song top the Spotify Top 50 Viral Chart in France and the most watched JESC song of all time on YouTube, reaching over 52 million views at the time of publishing this article.

In May, French Head of Delegation Alexandra Redde-Amiel confirmed that France intends to participate in Junior Eurovision 2020 in Warsaw.
